Snowy 2.0 Work Shirts

Snowy 2.0 is being delivered on Wiradjuri, Walgalu and Ngarigo Country. It is a world leading pumped-hydro project that will underpin Australia’s renewable energy future for generations to come. Snowy 2.0 workers are invited to purchase, via donation, a high visibility work shirt featuring Landscape of the Snowy Mountains - Working Together by Luke Penrith Arts & Designs.

Future Gen commissioned the artwork in 2022, and it evokes the Snowy 2.0 workforce, on Country, communicating and collaborating to meet common goals.

Once workers donate and order a shirt, Future Gen will finalise payment and arrange for the special order PPE to be dispatched to work sites.

Proceeds will support Aboriginal community development activities in the Brungle area, Luke’s home region, near Snowy 2.0.

FUTURE GENERATION JOINT VENTURE is proud to partner with Luke Penrith Arts & Designs to offer the opportunity for our staff to donate to these First Nations programs in our area of operation.

  • Tumut Pre-school - Redesign and build of new Yarning Circle and Bush Tucker Garden (purchasing of plants & material)
  • Tumut Public School Breakfast Club for terms 3 and 4 - providing a nutritious breakfast for students who would usually go without
  • Snowy Valleys School, Tumut -  Arts and Cultural Programs term 3
  • Wollundry Dreaming (Wagga Wagga) Youth Development Program - after school programs for terms 3 and 4
  • Riverina NAIDOC 3x3 Basketball Gala Day 11 July 2023 - Wagga Wagga (estimated 450 youth to participate)

We pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land, elders past, present and emerging. For they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and aspirations of Aboriginal Australia. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt this land Is, Was and Always Will Be Traditional Aboriginal Land
